TUT-CODE mapping-file for WXG4

In November 30th 2010, The common/standard kanji set(called Joyo-kanji) are newly 2136 characters.196 characters were added and 5 characters were deleted. As a result, conventional TUT-CODE isn't able to cover the whole Joyo-kanji. Therefore, I tried to assign 53 characters as the adding extension code.

The adding extension code

The way of key-assign is as follows.

1) kanji characters occurring frequency.
2) key-movement easy to do the move of the finger.
3) the connection of the kanji in the phrase

How to use

To use the above file, it's necessary that WXG4 is installed PC(Japanese version of WindowsXP). Extract a compressed file. After extract,  put "WXG4TUT.GRT" or "WXG4TUT+.GRT" file into the "DIC" folder which is the same as the present Roman alphabet definition file.

Moreover, must be redefined the WXG4TUT.GRT. 1st step, chose the "the environment setting" button in the WXG palette ( being a bar type).

2nd step, chose "customize" button In the property of WXG.

3rd step, chose "romaji" button In the customize of WXG.

Lastly, chose "WXG4TUT.GRT" by the drop-down-list. At this time, end at the "OK" button.

When typing the symbol which was defined in TUT-CODE in 2 strokes, the function of the space-key must be changed. normally, the space-key works as kana-kanji conversion.  The way of changing into another key definition is as follows. In the WXG customize, click the "key" button.

For example, The kana-kanji conversion function which is allocated here in "the space " can be redefined in " the Shift + space ".

How to use Mozc setting tool. 1st, To get「Mozcプロパティ」, click 「ツール」「プロパティ」on Japanase input selecter. 2nd click 「編集」of ｢ローマ字テーブル｣.

On「Mozcローマ字テーブル設定画面」,click ｢編集─インポート｣,and read TUT-CODE style-file. At this time, if reply message ｢現在のローマ字テーブルを上書きしますか？｣,click ｢はい｣.
